Americans are under-insured and our hospitals are overcrowded. The equation does not balance. This video journal explores the issues that our production team came across as we got to the root of what ails our healthcare system.

I think those with profit-driven health insurance in America also need to worry as much as those without. They need to worry if the coverage they have been paying for will actually be there for them if they really need to use it. If their coverage is truly very good, then they need to worry about whether or not they will suffer from over-treatment, which carries its own risks. They definitely will be over-charged for whatever coverage they have. Either way we're paying too much for care that is not really based on medical need so much as what type of coverage we have these days...and we all have greatly varying types.
