This list supposedly breaks down which countries have the highest and lowest average age of virginty loss. There's a few surprises on here... What do you think influence these local trends and what does a low average age say about a western country such as Iceland or Sweden?

    That's a fascinating map, with none of the usual north/south massive data differences that normally divide charts like this. Interesting....

    And on the subject of virginity, check out this article discussing the controversy surrounding abstinence campaigners and The Silver Ring Thing. Personally, I think the abstinence approach is a completely irresponsible way to go about trying to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases. Kids need education, not fear-mongering!

  • I always wanted some insight on this(hell I'm 14 testosterone and hormone), It didn't seem surprising that overtly liberal countries such as Norway, Sweden, Germany, and Iceland were at a low level. Brazil wasn't surprising either due to its lack of sex taboos. Hell 17 or 16 seems good to me.
