  • This is journalism at its finest.

Water is a serious issue that isn't being talked about, I loved how you got both politicians and man on the street interviews.

  • Great job bringing such an important issue to light--we're all so used to seeing one side of Vegas, and it's refreshing to see this piece.

  • very real issue that needs to be addressed throughout the entire southwest. i lived in taos, new mexico for five years and i definitely felt human impact on the water table. regulation and legislation must be enforced. vegas is the ultimate in blatant disregard for evironmental issues. its a true shame and i'm glad you've decided to shed some light on this issue. thumbs up!

  • hey,
well vegas will eventually dry up and become a ghost town. the great lakes are a whole other scary issue. pollutants and basic fundamental rights. who actually owns the water rights to the great lakes. it'll be a heck of a fight with canada in the near future unfortunately. and as for Anthrice in georgia didn't mean to rustle your feathers. i understand that water is a huge issue throughout the world. and to be honest i moved to new mexico to learn how people are dealing with the issue because eventually it'll be an issue we're all going to need to deal with. conservation and responsibility. as far as legislation i don't have much faith in the government and it seems as though money talks these days. i just hope people continue to raise issues and help shed light on topics that need to be discussed in the desert, georgia or wherever. we're all in it together. let's help each other understand.

  • Why do we build cities in the desert? Good Pod. I was pretty much checked out on water issues myself while living in Philadelphia. I get why people don't have a clue how big this issue really is. It is easy to be checked out when your fire hydrant it open all summer for the kids to play in.
