Russell Crowe and Nicole Kidman 'Overpaid'

Business mag Forbes have spoken out against Hollywood actors being grossly overpaid. They couch their argument in relation to how well their films actually perform in Box Office sales. That might seem a little anti-creative - after all sometimes the highest-grossing films are absolutely abominable to watch. But in the light of the writers' strike, and their ever-shrinking pay packets, it's a compelling argument. Crowe is reported to be not too enamoured with the Forbes article.

    Crowe's actually done some good movies lately. Kidman however has mostly been in clunkers in my opinion. She just hits a good one every once in a while. Actually I heard her trashy record is causing her company to reavalute movies with female leads because they think audiences aren't going for them anymore!
