During the 2004 presidential election, one exit poll revealed that 22% of voters said "Moral Issues" was the number one issue they voted on. Of those voters 80% voted for President Bush, and it was the state of Utah that gave the President his largest margin of victory. So just how important will "Moral Issues" be in the 2008 presidential election? In Utah, very important.

Guessing these 80% of the voters weren't expecting the hypocricy that took effect right after the election. The moral issues in question during this election aren't primarily the wedge issues, it's the moral issues affecting our rights and our constitution.

The greatest moral issue we face in this nation is honesty in politics. If all these moralists were to focus on this issue, I think we would see tremendous changes in the halls of power. We need a government that is transparent to it's people.
