MERRY TITMAS: The Breast Art Show in Town!

When Lenora Claire learned that 1 out of 8 women will develop breast cancer she completely freaked out. So she decided to do something uplifting and donate a portion of the sales from Merry Titmas to the Susan G Komen breast cancer foundation.

"The new show is called Merry Titmas and it's all about breasts. I've always said that art like breasts should be in your face and I know many of us have something to get off their chests about them."

The opening night of Merry Titmas includes interviews with Lenora Claire, Giving Breasts the Support they deserve, a Los Angeles based writer, glamour girl, performance artist-glass eater, and curator of the art event MerryTitmas with proceeds benefiting breast cancer. Chad Clark, artist, architect who glued hundreds of nipples on xmas ornaments to raise funds for breast cancer. Austin Young whose gorgeous portraits of Chris Crocker and Brandi C line the entrance of the gallery. Art and titmas balls; A boob fountain and boob chandelier and the gallery space which has been completely painted pink.

this is amazing. i love art that is controversial and makes people open their minds to the world around them. this really changes the norm and i love it!

on a side note...i had an art teacher that thought everything we made looked like a breast...and then when someone actually took a picture of their breast...she thought it looked like an eye!
