I am a retired and disabled police officer. On May 5th 1992 I was shot in the line of by three teenagers disguised as DOMINO'S DELIVERY PIZZA MEN attempting to commit armed robbery. I was shot in the back and left paralyzed from the chest down; my spinal cord was completely severed. It is people like these three teenagers and those who chose to be violent that have given firearms a bad name. Protecting life, hunting for sport or food, or just plinking for fun hurts no one. It is those who go "POSTAL" on others that make the law abiding citizens pay the penalty of their actions. I have been involved with guns all my life and I will continue to do so to protect my family and to plink, hoping never to have to use a firearm to protect my family but if the threat should arrive I must do what I must do!

  • I am sorry for what happened to you.And I admire you.For doing a difficult job in the first place,and for keeping a straight head after you got hurt and not going "Brady" on the whole gun issue.I agree with you whole heartedly.
