Liberal arts at Saskatchewan University or the like is a lame excuse for a degree. However, a degree from an elite school will put you where you want to be every time.
To bad that Wall Street didn't write that nearly all the heads of I Banking in the top five companies (Goldman, Morgan Stanley and the like) have been Ivy grads, most of whom did not graduate with finance degrees.-

And here i thought college was about studying what interests you; about bettering yourself intellectually and socially to become a more productive individual and a more conscious global citizen. silly me.
Education is only pointless if you don't give a fuck about it.
If starting salary is your only concern, then take accouting courses, or, better yet, take the $150,000 you'd spend on tuition and buy a house or invest in some stock.
Plus starting at the bottom builds character!
