The results from these trials suggest that Huntington's is treatable, at least for a while, and particularly if treatments are started early in the course of the disease.-------------------------thirty Huntington's people at all stages of disease have taken a cocktail of supplements including creatine, coenzyme Q-10, trehalose, blueberry extract and omega-3 fatty acids for up to three years. The results from these trials suggest that Huntington's is treatable, at least for a while, and particularly if treatments are started early in the course of the disease.
Energized by HDDW trial results, we are expanding this site to increase awareness of treatments that are available now, and those that are coming. Our focus will be divided into three categories. First, we will provide news and information on treatments, both for symptoms and potentially for neuroprotection. Second, we will work to keep you up to date on clinical trials that will bring new treatments, and lastly we will review research that has more immediate relevance to treatment. Huntington's Disease Drug Works (HDDW) was founded by LaVonne and Nathan Goodman in 2004 for the primary purpose of following participants in the Huntington's Disease Drug Works trials.

  • Many families suffering with Huntington's and Parkinson's are not finding this information due to lack of media coverage. I hope some can get this information. Not many doctors are in tune with this. It has been studied in top medical centers.

  • how much of each thing is required? please tell me you know...........my father has it, my older brother has is, my aunt died from it, i have 2 more aunts that have it, and my little brother is still not tested as to whether he has it........please tell me you know the amounts......we have been using 2 tablespoons of ambrotose and 2 tablespoons of trehalose with each meal and 4 oz of noni juice (which is high in antioxidants) and getting slow but progressively great results.....this is just 2 months into it though
