Don't let the huge, deadly weapon in the background put you off; Al Qaeda's number 2 honcho Ayman al-Zawahiri is actually a pretty approachable guy. The lovable murderous rogue, who in the past has said it was an honour for Al Qaeda to carry out the attacks on London, has invited journalists to interview him remotely by sending their questions in. It's apparently an attempt by an increasingly media-savvy Al Qaeda and al-Zawahiri to "present him as a sophisticated leader rather than a mass murderer."

Seriously dude, does that guy even know how to shoot that gun?
"Listen Ahman! The fuckin' safety is on! Don't you know anything? Idiot! Get your ass off the opium and back to work!" -
They can do this and yet they can't be brought to justice? What a farce this all is.

"Would you please put these handcuffs on yourself?"
See, you have to polite in order to get anything done. Say the magic word, and POW: it's all over. -
"What are you up to these days? Since no-one is really sure....we just hear your name every so often...normally with the phrase "thought to be" before it."
What totally baffles me about this, I mean REALLY makes me think "Hmmmm....." whilst I rub my chin, is the detail of WHO is making the posts on these websites.
(from the story)
"The advertisement appeared on several Web sites that Al-Sahab officially uses for issuing messages."
If Al-Sahab is using websites to "officially" release messages then the I.P of these internet posts can be traced leading to the arrest of the propaganda machine of Al-Qaeda.
There's no way that the most powerful country on the planet can't trace an I.P to an address and then make some arrests, so why hasn't it been done?

My thoughts exactly phillyharper. Which leads me to believe the articles I have read in the past that Al Qaeda is really just a CIA ruse to keep people afraid to perpetuate their PNAC agenda seem more and more believable after reading articles like this. That's how Bin Laden got started in the 80s when he fought at the behest of this government in Afghanistan against the Russians. That was when Reagan called him a "freedom fighter" How absolutely easy woud it be to trace an IP address when they spy here on their own people so well. It simply doesn't make sense.
