All my life people told me that i betrayed my country
that i should one day go back...
but what is the point?
she doesn't even know i left.....
It's easy to talk specially when you haven't lived in my shoes
i don't expect you to understand
I only ask that you dont judge me....
I hope that you can only UNDERSTAND
why I WONT BE HOME AGAIN....

This video is really thought provoking, all I've ever really seen of life in Mexico are films like City of God. I watched the trailer for it again and didn't realise how much it glamourised living in these areas. Check the video and see for yourself...
