The whole marketing system has us in a strong hold. We are conditioned to see ourselves as something less than. If we buy this cream, use that makeup, be this size, it just goes on and on, then we might be better looking, and that is what makes the economy go round.
I like to think that I have become somewhat more discerning as I have gotten older. But listen, I was alllll about pampering myself when I was younger. I still believe that is good. But what is not such a good idea, is spending so much money and doing more harm.
I have a new way of doing things today, Skin being our largest organ of the body. If I would not eat the item, it doesn't go on my skin> well, except soap? Been trying to figure that out as well...smiling!
Oh yeah...and perfume, still that one to. Oh well.....

Personally, I wouldn't go near any creams that don't contain Active Defence Systems or at least neutrogenic technologies. Errrr.....
