Researchers are working on a vaccine that could stop the effects of narcotics, like cocaine, from having an effect on the patient. Human trials for the nicotine and cocaine vaccines are already well under way and have yielded good results. The National Institute for Drug Abuse in the U.S. has put $15 million toward research.

Self Test for cocaine abuse. Begins with the fantastic question "Have you ever used more cocaine than you planned?"

Great, something else to put in school water supplies.

Why would you put it in school water supplies? The kids would still be buying drugs and associating with drug dealers... Raises an interesting question, is it the physical effect of the drugs that people are afraid of or is it the assumed lifestyle that comes with drugs that make drugs dangerous?

If it's a 100% sure way of quitting cigarettes, it's worth the research, right?

Ibogaine is far better, it works - but the tobacco, alcohol, methadone and buprenorphine industries have successfully pressured governments to make it illegal because it is cheap and cures addicts in one, two or maximum three takes with a few months in-between, which threatens the above-mentioned multi-billion industries.

Hello,
Interesting to see Iboga get a mention.
You may be interested in a film I am making for Current (starting tomorrow!) following someone taking the natural extract under supervision in Holland?

Here are just a few FACTS that are never mentioned in the media.
But if one addicted person loses it and kills a few people, the media and all of the people that love to watch it go CRAZY!!!
Untreated alcohol problems waste an estimated $184.6 billion dollars per year in health care, business and criminal justice costs, and cause more than 100,000 deaths.
100,000 DEATHS!!!!!!!!!
