Is this guy living like a Rock Star? Why do I care? Is she the hottest possible first lady of France?

Could Sarkozy be the Modern version of Pierre Trudeau the former Prime Minister of Canada who was quoted as saying "The state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation."?

Pierre Trudeau was famous for dating celebrities in the 70's, and received allot of flack at the time. He was still one of Canada's most influential leaders.

Should the personal lives of our leaders really be our business? If our leaders are doing their jobs properly should we care what goes on behind closed doors?

The current American President, seems to have very normal home life; maybe we need the good old days of "I did not have sex with that women"?

  • It is french to cheat on your wife but it is american to get caught sums up this ridiculous American inability to live fully. Personally, i do not trust anyone who holds a position of power and who does not have a vibrant social life.

    Frobot I'm unsure if Bush's "normal" way of life is very normal at all. His way of thinking in my opinion is old hat and most people are tired of it. He's the worst president EVER and he lives a 'normal' life ????? .... maybe it's time to change and get an American in the Whitehouse like a Sarkozy who doesn't conform to that 'normal' way??... Look if our politicians can do their jobs I don't care who they're dating. I think this guy is who he is and that is ok. The Americans and Brits need to chill... Gordon Brown and George Bush... ahhhhh two old dinosaurs... nuff said

C'mon anyone who sits in the Presidential seat has to know how to pull the trigger on every level. Actually, it is non of our business.

  • Why is it that a beautiful, talented woman with self-earned wealth and an active romantic life is snidely nicknamed "man-eater", when men of similar stature who do the very same thing (hump and dump, break hearts, notch bedposts, etc.) are often regarded as virile and studly? It seems a trifle unfair. No one's calling George Clooney a "woman-eater". Enough with the double standards. It's the 21st century!

  • Isn't that what you'd expect from someone like that? I mean, I was always disappointed that Clinton got busted with Monica Lewinsky...he could have done a LOT better. Remember JFK messed around with Marilyn? Sarkozy is definitely making the office proud. That's how it should be done.

    It is sad, Bill could have have done allot better. Who knows maybe he did?

    One thing is certain; even with his pants down Bill ran this country better than our current guy with "Family Values"

    I say more sex in the White House as long as the President keeps us out of stupid wars, keeps the Economy cruising, takes care of the Environment. and Improves our standing around the world.
