For over 67 years artists have been recording music at this recording-industry icon. The Big Bopper recorded "Chantilly Lace" here, Freddy Fender recorded "Before the Next Teardrop Falls" here. A parade of artists that reads like a who's who of music history,The Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Todd Rundgren, Smashmouth, Ted Nugent, Johnny Winters, Janis Joplin and so many more have filled these studios with memorable sounds and memories. Today, artists like Solange Knowles, Southern Backtones, John Evans Band, Kelly Rowlands, Winter Wallace..... just to name a few still make Sugar Hill a home base for recording.
It may be a tad surprising to discover that Sugar Hill has been quietly taking the music world by storm from it's home in Houston for all these years. Drop by their site and find out more

SugarHill has been the single coolest thing that I have ever been a part of. It's sometimes overwhelming to be at the helm of an institution. The vast majority of the time, however, I'm really just honored to be here working with such talented people.
