Rapper/entrepreneur Jay-Z is stepping down as president/CEO of Def Jam Records after three years with the label.
Then in like 2 weeks he will say "I'm back yall", then he'll retire again, then come back, drop and album, retire, then come back again.

"I think this deck chair would look better over there."
*ship sinks* -
The king of retirement... He has a good point though. This music is getting disappointing. Where's De La Soul when ya need 'em?

^ He isn't talking about the music. He's talking about, currently, the way albums are distributed to consumers.
I think he's leaving for the right reasons. The industry is a mess right now and needs some reformatting. He's just the man to do it. -
It's another new beginning for him. I can't wait to see what he's going to do next. Jay is definitely the greatest of my generation and will be in my son's too. He's a force to be reckoned with so the industry better watch out! Don't hate on the man because he knows how to change and survive the times.
