Junior: Native New Yorker is another mini-doc about this older brother I know who used to live in Tompkins Square Park during the ?homeless situation? of the late 80?s-early 90?s in NYC. He now works for the Parks Dept. as a manager in Washington Square Park. Nicknamed ?The Mayor Of Tompkins Square Park? and featured in stories on the front page of the NY Times, CBS News and the Village Voice, he?s an urban legend in his own right.

I like this. I don't think it's quite TV ready, but it could get there. It seems a little long and maybe a few things could be cut out. The sound dropping out to silence was a bit distracting. The interviewer's questions could be subtitled since they were were hard to hear. Everyone loves Richard Pryor, and your intro is good, but I don't think you need it. Junior's words are interesting and his voice is pleasant to listen to. I think going straight to his voice might be a strong enough intro.
In any case, I enjoyed spending a few minutes with Junior, thank you.-

Peace, I appreciate the love.
The point of having Richard Pryor as the intro is it's the beginning of his character name Mudfoot, that old Black man in the community who's always sitting out there with a unique wisdom. Junior is that guy. He's an archetype in and of himself. He fulfills a very specific role. Last of a dying breed in NYC...-
