And no, it isn't a new breakfast cereal.;-). To me it is a breakthrough that could bring solar energy to the level it should have been at twenty years ago. This is the part of the climate crisis that is exciting and gives me hope...the innovations, the ingenuity, and the vision that shows us that we can do this. We can make a better future and make amends for the past.

  • Just curious, but does anyone else find this to be an earth shattering discovery? Can you imagine people someday being able to buy this technology and apply its use in their homes without being hooked up to a grid of any kind? Or, at least get it from a source that won't rob them blind? Isn't that real Democracy? I think this year should be the year we focus on innovations and working to solve the climate crisis instead of just lamenting about it. I think this is a great start.

    Yes, this is exactly what Mr. Gore is talking about, and I think it is the answer. We have such potential, ingenuity. I wish I had enough money to invest because I definitely would invest in this to help it get to market.
