How can Steve Carell be nominated and not 'the Office'?

I love Steve Carell and he certainly deserves a nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy series because, well because he IS 'the Office'. That being said, how can one be nominated without the other? It's like nominating Hugh Laurie and Ricky Gervais without nominating House or Extras..they are the show so you must nominate both!

  • i wouldn't say the Steve IS the office, it's the Michel-Dwight-Jim combo that hooks me in! but i defiantly agree that the show should be nominated as well. i absolutely love the show and i can't think of many other shows that could be funnier that the office.
