Violence in Kenya continues as rival political parties dispute a recent election. With each side accusing the other of rigging elections how will Kenya move forward in a cohesive way?

Protesters called off their demonstration after police started using teargas and water cannons against them.

Americans should have been so outraged as the Kenyans in '04 and '00. But, no, we sat by idly watching t.v. and surfing the 'net. As the man said, "we have no government...". And so continues the fleecing of Americans.

the mounting unrest in Kenya is a blatant warning sign that intervention is completley necessary. The nightmare in Rwanda is a perfect example of what global ignorance leads to.

'Let people die and then there will be a change,' Words from the opposition leader Okoth are sad, but probably true. I hope a resolution to this comes soon, there have been far too many innocent casualties already.

Kenya has always been governed by corruption, it was only a matter of time before the citizens began to riot. I don't believe the U.S. government could have done anything. To pick sides and be locked into war for years would be folly. The U.S. can only give aid into peace talks between the two tribes until they can reach a settlement which hopefully they can do soon.
