Barack Obama is topping Hillary Clinton by 10 points in New Hampshire now, while Mitt Romney trails John McCain by 6 percent. New Hampshire voters historically tend to endorse the Iowa democratic results and overturn the republican ones, and this year looks like it's going to be no exception.

Tori,
I'm from NH. This is what I think I remember:
1984 -- Gary Hart beat IA dem winner W. Mondale
1988 -- I don't remember who won Iowa, but I don't think it was Mike Dukakis
1992 -- Bill Clinton technically won neither IA nor NH (IA senator Harkin ran, thereby negating IA as a contest, and P. Tsongas got 37 in NH to W. Clinton's 25)
But you're right about the Repb primary, tho. Except for incumbent presidents, I cant remember a Repb who won both IA and NH.

There won't be any change until we put corporate interests on notice. Somehow I doubt Obama--who has strong corporate ties--will challenge the system. He's truly the heir of Bill Clinton, who epitomized the empty rhetoric of "Hope. Change. Bipartisanship."
Just look at his voting record (Iraq), policies, rhetoric , campaign donors (lobbyists!), and key advisers. I'll vote for him if he's the nominee, but I won't be holding my breath for "change."-
