The Chap is a popular magazine proposing a return to a dandified way of life, involving tweed, pipe smoking, brogues and finely pressed trousers. The "Chappists" propose a revolution based not on violence or bomb-throwing, but on dressing and behaving very nicely indeed.
The annual olympics begins with the lighting of the Olympic Pipe. When all the contestants have taken a puff, the pipe is placed on the Olympic Pipe Rack and the games commence.

    • Love it! The tone is what made this pod - way to show how these guys are committed to their activities and the Chap-lifestyle, but don't take themselves too seriously... it's all in good fun! Funny interviews, good action shots of the umbrella hockey and steeplechase - nice touch with the text transitions that are reminiscent of silent films.

    • This is hilarious! Oscar Wilde is rejoicing from the grave, knowing that the ideals of Dandyism are being upheld in the 21st century. A great look into a bizarre but incredibly humorous subculture.

    • What a fantastic pod! It's good to see that refined tomfoolery is alive and well in Britain. This looks like so much fun! I love the way this is filmed too. Here's a link to The Chap magazine reports modern stories with an interesting perspective.
