Let's all just be misanthropes, grumps, and curmudgeons all around. Don't disclude everyone from your sighs of boredom!

This pod has a refreshing approach to prejudices in general, going beyond issues of race but including among its interviews one with a gay man who experienced a vandalism intended for him based on his sexual orientation. I also appreciated the approach to racism, interviewing people who experienced racism by their own ethnic communities. The style of this pod really struck me in particular: the unique camera angles and subtle effects make it an interesting piece to look at as well as listen too. All of the interviews take place in a warehouse-like atmosphere, and with a smooth, jazzy bass line in the background throughout the piece has the distinct feel of a poetry reading, adding a certain poignancy to each interview. By not using a mic for the interviews, the voices have a natural reverb that also adds to the poetic atmosphere. Overall the piece does a great job at tackling a very relevant subject in a unique stylistic way, with the personal narratives reminding us again how real the issue is.

The idea behind this pod is relatively simple, but it is nonetheless one that needs to be brought up time and time again. I thought you did a good job with editing on this piece, as to cut between like five different camera angles and to separate the speakers with a black and white still. How many cameras did you have, and how did you get that shot up in the rafters? That is a nice touch.
