Great stuff from Burton boards taking it to 'the man' who has deemed 4 ski resorts in the US to be snowboard free.

A bursary going out to the guys who get the best footage of their transgression into the no-go zone...

Rad, as i believe the kids say (were it still '83)

They have the right to keep their mountain restricted to only skiiers, just like cross-country ski areas don't allow traditional skis or snowboards. Or like how a sled park only allows sleds. It's private property - they can do whatever they want to. Although, if they have any business sense, they might recognize that snowboarding overtook skiing in popularity a long time ago.

However, just like the Augusta National Golf Course, which still won't allow women to become members, these ski resorts have the right to place restrictions on their facilities- which are operated privately. When taking into account the cost of liability insurance on a mountain full of people, I would assume that some insurers offer discounts to skiier-only facilities.
