Today, the shocking news that the UK Government stamped out an e-petition which, if had been passed, would have allowed Elephants to be kept as 'domestic' pets in the UK, was revealed to the public.
Elephants as pets? Of all the animals I would want as a pet, a two-tonne elephant probably wouldn't be at the top of my list.
