- The threatening message that almost lead the US to blow the crap out of Iran's boats might have come from a radio troll called the "Filipino Monkey," likely more than one person who listen to ship-to-ship radio communication and then jumps in shouting insults and threats.
  
  Check out some of the comments in this Navy News article... I love how despite all the uncertainty of where the threat "You will explode in a few minutes" came from, the major news stories played it up at first like it was the Iranians, full stop. http://www.navytimes.com/news/2008/01/navy_hormuz_iran_radio_080111/
