Ed The Oil Painter is a look at a self-taught artist that works at a steel mill by day. He began painting as a hobby at age 45, started taking it seriously at age 53, and is now an established artist with displays in galleries throughout the Ohio Valley and West Virginia. Ed paints on an almost daily basis and has a true passion for oil painting. His message to others is that it's never too late to learn or to be a kid at heart. Watch as he completes a painting during the interview.

Its a good piece Chris. So good in fact, that I want to see more of this guy's life. Where does he live? Does he have kids? What does he eat? How does he live?

This is entertaining, thought provoking, and inspiring. It left me wanting to hear more from Ed. I would like to see a series where Ed would paint a picture while talking about whatever... Maybe the picture could relate to the topic of discussion. Ed is quite a character and I'll bet the stories of his life, views on issues, and painting tips would be appreciated/enjoyed by many. Good Luck. Great job!

nice pod .. the whole self-narration from ed, minced with completing a painting in studio while talking his craft was solid gold .. this would look good on that old TV set ..

this is a great look at someone whose art is honest and striking. it doesn't have any of the pretentiousness seen in so many of today's professed "artists." Ed is a true artist, and your video portrays this effectively.

I am totally in awe of Ed's talent. I have known him and worked with him for almost 37 years and I never knew until recently how talented he really was. More people should follow his example and follow their dreams, not just in painting but in whatever you desire. Thanks for letting me know about the website , my friend and I wish you the best as you continue your journey.

A very enjoyable pod. I'd love to see more. Hopefully it will inspire people to explore their creative sides - or at least try new things.
