"A controversial gay-themed children's book which just weeks ago was unavailable at most local public libraries is now more widely accessible after a couple's attempt to have the book removed from the Lower Macungie Library backfired."

God, gay panic is so annoying. Why don't people realize that being gay is genetic. There's enough research that shows this to be true.

I honestly think that the book is perfectly fine. Saying revealing homosexuality to children is wrong is like saying revealing heterosexuality to children is wrong. Sexuality is sexuality, whether someone believes that homosexuality is right or wrong is irrelevant, doesn't change the fact that more people are coming out, it's out there, and there's no reason to shelter them from it.

Haha ^^ the Homies won! XD
I know, bad joke. Anyway,
I'm glade a book like this got a chance and
wasn't taken away.
I agree that people need to get over
their hate and fear of homosexuality.
Also, I like'd to say that it's not genetic.
I'm not saying it can't become genetic (and has and somewhat is now),but I don't think it happens that way all the time.
- I wonder if your just saying( and beleiving) that to connvens yourself your safe from becoming Gay lol -
jk. ^-^-

There should be more books and movies depicting homosexuality. Homosexuality is as natural as heterosexuality. And once more, ALL tax payers should receive equal considerations and treatment including the right to MARRIAGE. Fundamentalist create and assume to validate HATRED by discriminating and espousing their fallse sense of righteousness (which makes me.. a gay person...look more "spiritual" then them :) I think ).

I mean it's genetic in the way that people are born gay, Not that you can become gay because one of your parents were.

Why can't we just let people be themselves and teach tolerance, instead of discrimination? It seems so easy when its written out.
