REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER: Election Fraud Roundtable

Paper ballots are the only answer to the questions. Our votes have been outsourced! We need to take back our elections and demand paper ballots. No Company should have propriety rights to keep our votes secret. Open government demands open unquestionable vote counts. Questions should not go unanswered! It?s only a conspiracy theory if questions go unanswered!

  • It really wasn't fair to have Tony Snow for the voice of the Republicans (neocons). At no time in our future should people with voices and opportunity let such things go by unchallenged with facts. I'm sure they had much more, but it's hard to go after a sick guy. I feel bad for Tony Snow, but if they use him as their spokesperson, they are the ones using a sick guy. I want to see someone who is healthy talking spin (distorting facts) whereby they can call him on the spin and inform people at the same time. Eventually, they will be embarrassed for being so misleading. Facts are facts and spin is spin-distorting facts. We don't need spin we need facts.
There were discrepancies that should be looked into. No person should be charged an exuberant price to challenge the count. It should be our responsibility to prove it one way or the other. The pundits made excuses, but not with fact, they told us what they thought. That and a quarter, won't get you a cup of coffee

  • Spoon,
This is testimony under oath. How can we still be using hackable machines? Why are we still using hackable machines? Don't we care? What does Britney and Paris Hilton think? Maybe if they would speak up mainstream media would listen. They don't listen to people who know our elections can be manipulated.

  • Paper ballots are hackable, too. It's takes a box of ballots and lighter.

Let's figure that by November the outcome will be -so- obvious that having a 99.999% accurate would be simply besides the point.

States are smarter about this, many including Colorado and California are switching back to a scan-tron version of a paper ballott. Best of both worlds, the scan-tron ballott has you mark in the bubble, (even old people can handle that), it's fed into a computer and they tally up the votes. If there's a discrepency, they can always go back to the ballots.
  • Take your complaints to the state. Don't accept electronic voting or counting. THEY WORK FOR US.
  • Paper and electronic beats either by itself, obviously.

  • Conniepae, Great point about who and what Americans are paying attention to....and why. If we do wake up at all, when, where and how might it happen?
    spoon
  • Spoon, Sad thing is I don't think Americans are going to wake up before George W. takes us to war with Iran. The Republicans spin it and their base applauds? Far too many Americans have turned into warmongers. I can't understand how, other than they are programmed daily by mainstream media and they parrot the spin as though it is now fact.
American people have not seen what has been done in our name in Iraq. No accountability! Depleted Uranium is not even talked about even though it has been used in Iraq. American people do not know the affects of depleted uranium. It isn't pretty! I'm afraid it's like Agent Orange, it will take years before people find out facts.
I can't look at the scenes in Iraq and not look at the destruction in the background. What has been done with bombs since we went to war there looks devastating. I'm not crazy about the neocons, but I don't want China or Russia to bomb the hell out of us cause they don't like George W! I don't want to be a refugee because a leader of another country decides they don't like what George W. is doing to our with his war machine!
It has been said, you lead by example. I hope we are not leading today with the example we are setting. SAD! It's hard to find much to be proud of, spin (distorted facts) don't count!

  • What's the deal, does Pelosi own a bunch of stock in a munitions factory? If we go to war with Iran the blame will be on her "Impeachment is off the table" doorstep.
  • I'd love to see Cheney and Bush go, but if the dems even tried impeachment, the country would revolt against them, not the republicans. There's a lot of lazy Yanks out there that don't know the Constitution.
  • The reason the Democrats are in the majority is because people are sick of Bush and want him stopped.
  • Pretty much, but also the Republicans are basically defeating themselves by failing to recapture Bush's position.

Conservative voters are focusing on foreign policy issues, terrorism being #2 and liberal voters are focusing on domestic policy and shoving aside the war.

Neither position stands on its own. The left and the right are not where the votes are, the center will be the deciding factor.

If you're voting in this election, pretend you're not a partisan if you ever meet a pollster.
  • Nobody revolted when they impeached Clinton for offenses that did not even come close to meeting the criteria (or more correctly lieing about offenses that did not meet the criteria). If we weren't so mesmerized by Paris and Bittainey, we should be revolting because they are NOT impeaching these guys, which I see as a total dereliction of duty. Pelosi is in a rough spot though because if she starts impeachment hearings against both, then she gets to be President. Right? Why did they design it like that? Seems like a Catch-22 for her. People would have to force her to play that hand, and so far we haven't done that.

  • I guess that's why everybody except Edwards seems to be rushing for the relative safety of the middle these days. I disagree about the foreign-domestic, Republican-Democrat issue concentration theory. Republicans are very upset over immigration (domestic) and Democrats do focus on the Invasion of Iraq. Do you think we'll see bin Laden captured and/or dead before November?

Excellent site showing the hackability of Diebold machines, by Princeton scientists.

  • I can't see Clinton or Obama surviving a general election. The Republicans will not hold back, they have the wind (mainstream media) at their backs. As we have seen mainstream media swings to the right. We would not be in Iraq if not for the co-operation of mainstream media. If accountability were added back to the American dictionary, they would be labeled as GUILTY, along with many, many others. America has done away with accountability and facts. Facts are no longer facts, they are spin tools, waiting for mainstream media to decide which version they choose. Unfortunately, it has not been a version for the betterment of ordinary Americans. Their version favors neocons and Corporate America.
My dream, a Democratic Presidential Candidate, Al Gore and a Republican Vise Presidential Candidate, Chuck Hagel. I want an ?American Party?, not a Unity Party. I want a party that works for all of us, balance is what we need. Maybe we can stop the spinning and get back on course. I would love to see Al Gore and Chuck Hagel taking on mainstream media?s spin with facts. Facts should be fact, and spin should be exposed as spin (distorted facts)..
