The coming to London of the Tour de France 2007 reminds a Londoner of a cycling adventure he made some years ago in Africa...

You were so daring! WHY? You journey is interesting, though, I couldn't help laughing out loud when I saw the click of you taking water from the well!

im really impressed brother, ive been smashed up on motorbikes, but i cycled220+km to raise money 4 homless charity.we cycled from hinckley to skeggness, ileft my water money etc with back up van.i got my head down n made it in4-5 hours more or less none stop.i had to ask a remote farmhouse 4 water, and when i reach sgeggness, the local chip shop gave me free chips n a cup of tea,it was an amazing experiance.we raised enough money and awareness, they built a homless centre 4 young people in hinckley leicestershire.i also travelled to see misty in roots in94 on my pushbike(12speed) in cheltenham,3 days of cycling,i lost 2 stone, but it was well worth the effort, misty were brilliant!

Sounds like a great journey!! I love the idea of cycling for a cause and am currently training for the AIDS Lifecycle 2008. It's in June and I will be riding 545 miles or 877 kilometers over 7 days. Check out my video!
