The Dallas Cowboys suffered a season ending loss at the hands of the New York Giants. Many people in sports media attributed this loss in part to Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo's decision to vacation with his girlfriend, Jessica Simpson, during the week of the game. Terrell Owens defended his quarterback in a post game interview where the usually enthusiastic wide receiver got uncharacteristically teary-eyed.

  • Interesting, of all the players on the Dallas Cowboys, T.O. would be the last person I would imagine defending Romo like that. Especially considering a couple of weeks ago he told Jessica Simpson to back off and stay away(from being at the game), but apparently that vacation in Mexico did enough damage.

    If I was the head coach, I wouldn't let any of my players go on vacation before playoffs, are you crazy? You wanna go to the show? Or you wanna go home? Romo made his bed and now he'll lay in it.

    On a positive note, T.O. has become quite the team player.
