Children of the Night

Children of the Night is a private, non-profit, organization dedicated to assisting children between the ages of 11 and 17 who are forced to prostitute on the streets for food to eat and a place to sleep.

This pod tells the story of one individual's struggle and how Children of the Night helped her escape the streets.

    Hey, thanks a lot for posting this pod! I also see this to be a growing problem in the coming year. It is getting hard to survive in this economy and there will be more demands on the, "already severly under funded", social programs. The children/youth, our elders, vets, and animals will be the first to feel the effects of the rich getting richer.

    This I-Pod is amazing. It really brings out a topic that i undermined in our society. More programs like that should be implemented, especially for young refugees or immigrants entering into our country.
