Note to Tom Cruise: You are maxing out pal. Wearing out the welcome. Becoming less the tolerable and moderately talented and mildly likable megastar and more like an itchy boil on the deranged ferret of popular culture, requiring lancing.
Oh and do whatever you have to to never have a heart attack around Tom Cruise, cause he would just use his medical expertise to put some duct tape on your chest and give you some gumdrops. And then he would convince you that the defibrillator and paramedics who later saved your life really didn't save your life.-

Scientology is a privledge i can do without. And someone should tell Tom that there's only one reality and itd be nice if he could get in touch with it.

A bit of self-grandiosity to hide ones own repressed feelings of need - it's all right Tom, we still like you. You're still a god guy.
I'm not saying I disagree with Tom completely, there are lots of things wrong with this world, lot's of things people do to each other they shouldn't, some of the time in the name of right, or the law, or whatever.
I don't know the age of Tom in that video, but didn't articulate himself very well, making references to "it". "IT" is and was very emotional for him - his reason for "it" are therefore also very emotional, not logical. Not saying that it's bad, just making it a distinction. Some of both of it is a good thing - it.
You must appreciate his desire to be a force of positive change - and there does appear to be some track record with Scientology to backup the claims.
My own brief stint with Dyanetics years ago, the other part of Scientology; I believe I was drugged in an effort to get me to comply with something(?). In addition, I received harassing phone calls and letters for more than 6 months. They wanted to own my soul forever. Sick isn't it? Sorry, Charlie!
Maybe Tom feels those things are okay to do? in an effort to make the world a better place?-

What the F@#$ was he talking about?
-
Exactly. And more important, why should we care?
This is the sort of stuff I expect to see on E! television, not here.

wow. talk about a downer. if you want real news... make it yourself because it's hard to find some sort of news source without having a few articles to bitch about.... jeez.

That's the kind of "ego-charity-giving" I don't like. He wants to help people because he thinks he's better than everyone else is the "only one" that can help. And because he "knows." Please.
Tom's charity work in the past 2 years sums up to:
1. A donation of a pair of his sunglasses to the Make A Wish Foundation. --Wow, how generous.
2. $20,000 to Jackie Chan's Charity saving endangered tigers in China. --Ok, pretty good chunk of money.
Not too much when Mission Impossible III grossed
$133.5 Million in the US and
$ 264 Million Internationally.
So, I don't see much helping on your part Tom. Do you stop at every accident you see? Because you're the only one that can help, apparently, not even the EMT's and firefighters can help those people.
All in all, it's great he wants to help people, but he can lose the attitude while he's at it. There are plenty of people out there that do charity work from their hearts and because they want to, not because the HAVE to. -
be careful, that video may have embedded subliminal messages and the cult could be secretly ditributing it on purpose to brainwash us all!! wow... thats all I can say.. WOW Tom....

In the infamous Scientology video, Cruise really reminds me of the character he was playing in Anderson's "Magnolia". Weird...
