from Greg Sargent at TalkingPointsmemo:
"A new study finds that John Edwards doesn't exist.
Allow me to explain.
After John Edwards placed second in the Iowa caucus on January 3, Elizabeth Edwards took to the airwaves to argue that his finish should occasion the media to stop covering the Dem contest as little more than a showdown between two political superstars, Hillary and Obama. Not surprisingly, nobody listened to her. "

If Edwards got screwed, what do you call what the media has done to Kucinich?

I won't defend what happened to Dennis. Not at all. I think we need more open dialogue for sure. But i understand basically allotting coverage with the relative popular support. In that case, i think Edwards was the most impacted. He continues to poll in a statistical dead heat in Nevada, with both O and H, and yet does not get the coverage. Kucinich's 1-2 percent maybe should get him some support, but certainly not in the way that Edwards' 27% should.
-
Apparently, neither does Ron Paul.
-
Why doesn't anyone listen to Gravel, Kucinich, Paul, or Edwards. Everyone that I talk to doesn't even know who Mike Gravel is.
-
the media does not cover them. Of all these candidates though, the one that has a shot, if his voice is heard, is edwards. the next is probably Paul. anyway...

Corporate controlled media is so annoying. We need to do something constructive -- like kidnapping Chris Matthews and holding him for ransom. Matthews will only be released after the network spends 2 solid weeks debating who will win Super Tuesday: Obama or Edwards? The rest of the Election coverage will be spent discussing why Hillary Clinton should drop out of the race for not winning the support of several Nevada unions (a clear indicator that she's not a serious candidate and should bow out as Richardson has done).

or we can donate, and overturn the media control:

Follow who gets the best media coverage, and most campaign dollars, then vote the opposite of that.

remember al gores book "the assault on reason" ?
he clearley showed the american vote is for sale.
dont be alarmed this is just the byproduct of having an electorate that is basicaly for sale to the highest bidder.
btw cyborg527 i read some very interesting things gravel had to say in a dfa poll. seems like a good candidate to me too.-
