He is gone but there is soo much that still needs to be done. We need a Dr. King for the 21st century.
Got any suggestions?

We definitely need one...not just to stand up for racism...but we need someone like Dr. King to stand up for so many other issues that our country is facing.

Replace the word nigro w/ HUMAN in his speach...4 what currently is the issue... Now it's the poor who are slaves....NOW IS THE TIME 2 RISE FROM SEGRIGATION(rich/poor)....'cause WE(humans of poverty) ARE NOT SATISFIED!!!! *******"I have a dream deeply rooted in the American Dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of free...THAT ALL (humans)MEN are created EQUAL!!!"******** I hope 2 live in a Nation that judges the character(soul) not the money....That the poor will be able 2 do the same as the rich w/out ne barier(money) .....*LET FREEDOM RING!!!!!!!* FREE AT LAST??? When money(idol) is gone then we shall TRUELY be FREE....~When no1 but your soul comands u, then u are truely FREE!!!!!!!!!!!~ *Pure TRUTH*True PEACE*Total LOVE/UNDERSTANDING*

These are so beautiful. It's very easy to forget about our forefather's struggle, to take the world we are living in for granted, and to grow cynical about the difference that one man with conviction can make. And it starts from the simple things-listening to understand in a disagreement, turning the other cheek when you are "disrespected", replacing judgement with compassion...it's a work in progress :-)

Time only makes Dr. King's words stronger. We still need to hear and head his message.

I'm pretty sure he was one of a kind. There is no issue today that is as palpable as the issue of civil rights was in the 60's. I feel that environmentalism is definitely the major issue of this generation. I only hope that there is someone out there that will be able to engage the people the way that Dr. King did and shake us out of our apathy and put us on the road to action.

Do u have eyes 2 c NoShow????...I mean seriously....the poor are SUFFERING...this is a worthy cause...I agree the environment is just as big of a deal...but how can we come 2gether 2 fix the environment 2gether if we ignore each others suffering...I mean if u & some1 u don't like both needed a house....would u work together as compared 2 some1 u do like...then it's more likely u would work 2 live in that house 2gether.
