This is good - knowing when to throw in the towel on a relationship is hard, these are some of the signs.

  • this brings up the question, it it ever a good idea to stay together for the kids? i personally don't think it's the best way to go, but a lot of people defend it. and it's fairly common.

  • That's a tough one, isn't it? I would guess it's based on individual tolerances - if the stress levels you're under are affecting the kids negatively, you should probably bail. Or work on not taking it out on them - because often it would be a total change of lifestyle for them (less money, et c.)... that's a tough call. But that's where people have to not be selfish - when it comes to their little ones..
