Firefighters Work To Sink Giuliani Campaign

The reason so many firefighters died that day is because Giuliani failed to provide working radios for them. He knew about the problem back in 1993 and didn't replace them until 1997 and when he did, he did it Bush-style: no-bid contracts. Basically, he picked whoever was his crony at the time to provide the new radios -- without checking whether it worked in buildings, underground, and other conditions. Without making sure that the firefighters would be receiving the best equipment to do their jobs. Without any regard for their safety or their lives.

Fast forward to 9-11: The firefighters said 248 of their crew never got the order to evacuate the second tower because their radios weren't working.

How does Giuliani handle this embarrassing allegation? He blamed it on the firefighters of course. He said the firefighters "rebelled against orders" to evacuate. When the real truth was - the firefighters never got the orders to evacuate. They couldn't have! Not when the radios he provided them were broken!

And now he goes around campaigning on 9-11, on the backs of the first responders that he recklessly endangered and killed. He is a dirty rat and the firefighters know it! I would listen to what they have to say over what he has to say about himself any day!

amen, most people deny this truth and when the lies are removed and people spread what really happened, it makes me happy.

this bastard doesn't just need to sink, he needs to drown, i hope he never gets a decent job ever again.
