Nothing says mourning a loss like cashing in on it. This photo was taken mere hours after Heath Ledger passed away at a San Diego Best Buy.

Way to go Best Buy. You finally made the term "Too $oon" mean something.

  • Maybe a Ledger fan just happened to work there and went on a frantic spree around the store and put everything in one spot as some sort of tribute.

  • or maybe an exploiting manager thought to garner some precious corporate brownie points for "initiative"? ...they haven't even buried the man yet (heh) or maybe, cmruready (and I don't think you're ready), the manager just let that rabid fan use one of the laserjets to print out that sign, pulled out a table for him and said...hey, go ahead, I'm a fan myself... (heh)

  • i used to work at a sam goody in san diego, and whenever any celebrity would die, we'd get a corporate announcement to place all their works up front and to use their deaths in a profitable way. almost verbatim.
