  • The issue about the fact that plastic bags are being banned and that paper bags may use more energy and resources to produce is an easy fix. Every consumer should just have a collection of reusable bags to use whenever they go shopping. There are a couple ways to help get the reusable bags to consumers; Everyone has seen those donation papers for charities at local grocery stores that you sign your name, pay a small fee and it gets posted in the store. Why don't grocery stores just offer reusable bags instead of the charity papers and market it as "Go Green and Buy a Reusable Bag" and charge a small fee that would go towards acquiring a reusable bag and possibly help an Earth Saving charity of some sort. We basically need to do something to make reusable bags an everyday thing. It would eliminate the controversies about paper vs plastic bags and start a REUSABLE BAG REVOLUTION!
