After the worlds cheapest car rolled off the production line in India recently, this gem seems to have slipped under the radar un-noticed. It runs off compressed air and nothing more, it gets 200km on a "full tank" and has a top speed of up to 110km/hr.
Where is the big press filled release? Where is the pre-order form? Why hasn't everyone hailed this as the saviour of the transport problem? At only £2,600 this is surely set to have a massive impact on the way we experience travel?

great.
..now if we could figure out a way to magically generate compressed air without the huge quantity of energy required...then...we'd have an actual solution..

Your cynicsm has been noted. That said, it's been well known for years that it is easier to clean the production of energy over the use of it. So investing in Air cars is a step towards a solution since we can ween ourselves off fossil fuels and fill that gap at the production end with alternative methods like Nuclear Fission, wind energy, solar energy, and every other werid and wonderful method which you've become acustomed to seeing on the net.

Is the little cramed, unsafe car any use? I run a Renault Espace on poo, the same with the Boxster Porche and Ford Transit. A LOT for one person with chickens, HOWEVER, with POO!

Why must green always equal ugly. If these companies really want to sell their products to the masses , not just the ecocentrical amongst us (and therefore make a substantial difference to the environment) they should really give more thought to the aesthetics.
