Advisors to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton say they have concluded that Bill Clinton's aggressive politicking against Senator Barack Obama is resonating with voters.

So says the NYT. Is that why they're endorsing her?

Define "resonating".
Does resonating = pissing off? Then sure. Or at least, for me.
To be fair, I don't like when Obama attacks either, or anyone else for that matter. And I don't think I'm alone - my understanding was that voters don't respond positively to attack ads.
On the other hand...by the time a voter gets into the voting booth, all they might remember was a vague "there was something bad about ______ (fill in the blank with the name of a politician that was bad mouthed)" and vote otherwise. Sigh. -
Bill Clinton was once described as "America's First Black President", how ironic that he is significantly hurting the chances for America's first real black president.
-
What were some of his "attacks"?

Maybe Bill isn't ready to let go of that title...

It is the old trick: Talk bad things about someone "NEW" or "DIFFERENT"... It always seam to works in an "equal" America.
Deep inside this country there is FEAR to the black, to the Hispanics, TO THE "others"...-

So Hillary's camp have told her that her own husband's efforts are doing well, as reported by the paper that's just come out in full support for her?
Fair enough...
I was really enjoying the debate in the democratic corner but the descent into 'he said, she said' coverage is disappointing and not what I was hoping for from the party who claim to be moving on from the old spin and mud-slinging politics into a new, open and honest, progressive style of government. -
I think America is ready for a black President and/or a woman President. In this election, however, there is a better choice, John Edwards.
John Edwards for President, 2008.-

I am not a big fan of Bill Clinton and even less a fan of his wife. However, Obama's lack of respect for the symbol of our Country, our flag, makes me, if not ill, extremely angry.
Not a black thing at all !! Just a lack of respect thing for our Country. He should not even be considered for the office of President. He can deny what ever he wants, he's on tape refusing to salute the U.S. Flag.
By-By- Obama.-

=D I *love* you guys! I had near-exactly the same reaction you all had...what a load.
didn't know about the NYT so that brings the background into focus for me. thanks!
and I didn't know about Obama on tape refusing to salute the flag (which I'm even somewhat tempted to do knowing who runs this freak show we call "our" government). Any links to that video?
appreciate it... -
Here is a link for you, echoz that shows how Obama chose not to show respect for the Country he is wanting to run.

Thanks for the link!! It makes me realize my thoughts about this idiot are real. The people that have promised to harm us have said it would come from within. GUESS WHO??

Steve and Midnight, does that mean that you're Billary supporters, or are you on the other side of the aisle?

Don't like her either - not really sure about "the other side". J M appeals to me only because he understands the issues of war and what it costs - not financially, but in terms of human issues. I hope I answered your question. PS: Just so you understand, I served my country during the Vietnam era. I understand a-lot of the things he has to say.

Covelogibbs, to be completely honest, I have not made my final decision, but Obama and Hillary are not getting my votes, I can assure you that.

You and I are on the same page. I am not quite sure about the other side yet. Let's see how many times they each stick their foot in their mouth !!!!!
