The internet was a strange and ugly place in the late 90's. Check out some of todays biggest websites, back when they were itty bitty babies.
As for me? I'm a fan of McDonald's original website. I had no idea more than 11 miles of thread hold the giant Arch Deluxe burger in place. (The web designer was unable to locate the question mark key.)

1996 WAS just a few months ago wasn't it? Oh... right, some of us are older than others. I was working in a library then and it was fun to look at our site in 1996. We got people every day asking when the card catalog was coming back. When you look at it you can't blame them. But it took an army of people to keep that thing up to date. Hmmmm... jobs, what a concept. Once in a while they still ask.

Here's 'Part Two'.
"Digging through websites cached from the 90s is akin to seeing a celebrity's high school yearbook pictures?during the early, awkward years of the web, brave companies made a stab at winning consumer hearts through 15" CRTs and 14.4k dial up modems" -
WOW! Was I the only one of it's time missing out on all the action? And to THINK I REALLY called it unnessisary!
