The New Hampshire Scam?

A video has surfaced showing how the New Hampshire voting ballots were moved from a secure keycard secured vault to a simple storage room with a secure "seal" over the door. With so many bloggers and journalists writing about inconsistencies in the votes this video is being hailed as hard evidence that something is awry.

The people who are being asked the tough questions seem to be very sheepish in coming forward over why there has been a procedure change. What do you guys think?

The New Hampshire Scam?

  • Wiki text on electoral observation - 'In countries with high rates of corruption and in countries new to democracy, international observers, e.g., from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) may be brought in to observe the elections. OSCE has observed over 150 elections and referendums between 1995 and 2006, sending more than 15,000 observers. Recently observed elections have been the Afghanistan presidential elections in October 2004, the 2004 U.S. presidential election and the Belarusian presidential election, 2006.

    Besides international observers there might be local observers:

    * Justice Department[39]
    * Political parties, e.g., the United States Democratic Party's election protection program.[40]
    * Poll watchers from election integrity groups. Most of them also offer information websites and phone hotlines for voters to report problems. Some of them also help with voter registration. Examples are VoteTrust USA and Verified Voting Foundation.

    Critics note that observers cannot spot certain types of election fraud like targeted voter suppression or manipulated software of voting machines'.

    I simply could not believe my ears when I watched this video. And the last sentence was the icing on the cake. 'No citizen witnesses'. Why not!?

  • This is certainly a good way to convince people not to vote. It's very hard to get people to vote... when stories like this come out then even fewer people will go to the polls. I'm feeling like I'm living in a banana republic lately. It makes you wonder how many elections lately would have turned out different if everything had been done honestly. Power corrupts... they get a taste and just can't get enough. Vote Edwards!

  • If this wasn't planet stupid, those people would be held accountable for election fraud, or at least gross incompetence.

    This is the state where Hill-Billary won over from Obama.

    Where is the Attorney General of the United States? Where is the Attorney General of New Hampshire? Where's the Governor of that state?

    Perhaps, New Hampshire should loose it's status as a part of the the United States until it can get itself together and obey the Constitution.

  • This is excellent journalism! Chris Matthews kiss my ass. How come the "journalists" earning million dollar salaries couldn't produce this kind of journalism. All it took was a camcorder and 7 mins. That's it! Tim Russert, you owe me a refund.

  • Thank God we've got Attorney General Jerry Brown here in California.
