Dont get me wrong this is a great an informative video pod. Very well done. But your kidding if this is the problem surrounding global warming. Theres more smoke from Natural Fires out of control, Farmers continuing to burn cropfields such as sugar cane in Hawaii and not to mention all the clear cuts being burned. What about Oil Fires, Tire Fires, Volcanic activity. Yes there are health related problems from these people burning fires in there homes. But to say this is even making a dent in the creation of Global Warming is way off the mark in my view.

I don't place much value on opinion, dharmadog. Do some research and give me facts. 3.5 billion people cook over open fires every day. I am sure that the smoke from natural fires, cane fields, oil & tire fires, volcanoes, etc. affect our atmosphere.
What is the total global warming potential of all of these fires? Have you compared that amount with the global warming potential of the emissions from those 3.5 billion cooking fires?? -
This is a great video explaining the micro level practices impacting the global climate. Each individual can be part of mitigation and make a better planet for living.

I dont expect anyone to agree with me. Try applied common sense.

Nice job Jeremy.
You've all probably seen this pod already, but since it was related I thought I'd add it here.

Dog,
Recognize the voice in the Vita stove video? I produced that a few years ago for Aprovecho Research Center. I never knew it was posted there. Here are a few other vids on improved cook stoves.
