How Can Democratic Nations Allow Innocent People To be Deprived of Medicine, Food and Electricity

This doesn't make ANY sense at all. I guess bombing and killing innocent lives in Lebanon was a little too expensive and just blocking supplies kills with little expense. Wake up world and find a better solution to war and murder of innocent people. Not ALL those people are responsible for what is happening and just "Getting Back" for whatever makes matters worse. War has NEVER brought peace. It only brings money to the greedy rich, greedy corporations and greedy politicians. Blood money. Maybe I'm sleeping and should wake up, all this is only a dream and the real world is full of love, peace and sharing.

  • So Israel has no right to retaliate but lebanese and palestinian militants have the right to bomb schools and houses in Israel, right?
Shouldn't the world also wake up to the 150+ rockets that fall on Israeli soil every day?
Wouldn't all of these democratic nations do exactly the same thing if they were under attack?

  • well first of all, this is a pretty hypocritical choice of video considering Ron Paul would be the only candidate to actually leave Israel alone. He wouldn't intervene. He would let them deal with their own issues themselves. That's sort of the opposite of this article.
Aside from that, this is possibly the most unilateral approach to the Arab-Isreali conflict I have ever seen. Not one mention of the fact that Israel has been invaded numerous times by their neighbors and much of the land they "occupied" is land they gained on their invaders - not land they stole. Israel has never invaded anyone unprovoked.
The video did not mention any of the constant attacks on Israeli soil. It didn't mention any dead Israelis, or any rocket destroyed Israeli homes. It was completely one-sided.
Hezbollah was not formed because of the Israeli occupation - that's just a lie. He failed to address the cause of the invasion - this wasn't an unprovoked attack.
And any of the gaza/west bank attacks - which are (from my knowledge) in retaliation to rocket attacks - are on land Israel gave away. It was land given to Israel by the UN which they gave away. I personally don't agree with Israel demolishing homes - although they were homes built without permits - I don't think Isreal should be preventing Palestinians from living in the country. I do on the other hand think Israel has a right to prevent rockets from hitting its own people.
A fair assessment of the conflict would list both sides, something this video absolutely does not.

  • Ronen, don't you know that in today's world a country's "innocense" is determined by the number of people that get killed? Obviously if Israel's numbers are not as high as the other side, they are big and evil.
