The phenomenon known as Guitar Hero allows everyday folk to feel like rock stars in their own living rooms. The Guitar Zeros have taken that concept one step further, by rocking out on stage playing original music, all with instruments from the Guitar Hero video game. By writing software that allows them to create thousands of sounds with the Guitar Hero instruments, the Guitar Zeros have proven that they're anything but.

Why not join in with the Guitar Zeros with your iPhone?
Screaming groupies now playing along with your set - being a rockstar never seemed so unappealing... -

We offered to run the gauntlet to get our son this for Christmas but he wasn't remotely interested. Looked at us like we were aliens when we asked. Fine with us....we saved the money and avoided having to dump it in the ever increasing "yard sale" pile with each passing birthday he celebrates.

This is insane!!! In a good way.
-
yeah!!! Is this software available?
-
All information on how to turn the controllers into instruments can be found here.

This is so much cooler than sitting in front of the TV just playing guitar hero! Oh yeah, nice pod! Haha! I really enjoyed this. Really cool new info for everyone to see. I like that you focused on primarily a single member of the band to tell the story. Good use of character. Also, it's really nice that this isn't just a "look at these guys play" video. Having him explain how exactly they went about things is really cool. Keep up the good work!

Wow that rocks. I can't even beat "My Name is Jonas"(GHIII) on expert and that is nothing compared to this!!!
Congrats to you guys for being so creative. I wish I had thought of that :) -
rock is dead.

Mad props on doing something so out of the ordinary and creating this brand new sound!

Didn't they forget to use the word "toy"? If you're going to spend that much time working at something, get a musical instrument. There is very little difference between this and playing Simon. The cheapest used piece o' crap guitar makes a better sound.

If you liked this and Djing, check out Ean Golden. http://www.djtechtools.com/2008/02/25/dj-with-guitar-he... It’s got a sweet video too!!!

I'm ashamed as somebody who plays to see this. Can people even be serious? This isn't something to be proud, completely destroying an art form with 5 buttons and a plastic "pick". This saddens me greatly
-
cool idea for an art opening! =) nice video.
I would like to come at your shows for a few times, not more. I like it but you gotta put something more to be the real thing. ;) -
kinda genius!

Man, just when I thought I'd seen it all! This is the future, American Idol is responsible for. Video killed the radio star. Internet Kills Video. The evolution of sonic unity to kill the mind. Priceless. You guys are genuises. Where's the album?
