I accidently stumbled upon a protest outside the Isreali embassy on Friday when I went to my country's consulate on some business. I did not have my camcorder on me but I had my camera on which I captured a few 40 second long clips and pictures before my battery died out.
It was interesting for me to witness as an international student in the US and though I would not have participated, it was inspiring to know that even though some of the protesters did not know anyone living on the strip, they still felt they could do something by voicing their concerns and displeasure at the current situation in that part of world.

Bani, good thing you were there at the right time to catch the protest. Not everyone in America believes the nation that calls itself "Israel" is the "Israel" people of the Old and New testament. Evangelical Christians support the nation calling itself "Israel" to hasten the coming of Jesus Christ by promoting the "Israeli" state as a fulfillment of prophecy. The real prophecy this state is fulfilling is not the one they think it is. The terrorist violence the Israeli people used to take the land in the first place will be laid to their charge, for whatsoever a person sows, that will he reap. True, biblical "Israel" and "Jews" are those who follow the king of Judah, Jesus Christ. They live all over the world.
