Obama also received the first ever endorsement from author Toni Morrison, as well as 3 Kennedys (Senator Ed, Caroline, and Rep. Patrick).
-
Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, has snagged a different prominent black author: Maya Angelou.
-
...and if Andre were still with us, I'm sure he'd endorse Obama, too...

I've grown bored of Fairey, but this is rad. GO OBAMA!

I don't know if this is possible, but I hope we don't become over-saturated, or that people relax because it seems as though he's already in there...we still got a little while to go...

re: Angelou-wasn't she the poet laurete for Clinton? Does anybody know how to spell laurete?

thannk you Shepard for continuing to inspire and empower our generation with your work.
Al Gore has a posse too. -
I've changed my mind about him. He's not the progressive that many of us believed him to be. His positions on various domestic issues sit to the right of even Hillary Clinton! Issues like his solutions to health care, global warming, the economy, mortgage crisis relief and job creation plans. He seems to have one blanket approach to all - just give tax cuts to the middle class. Surely, it's better than giving it to the rich, but tax cuts don't solve everything.
Yes, the allure to unite the country is huge, and his potential to bring in young voters is great, but people shouldn't think they are electing a progressive. If young voters deem that a moderate with a winning style is what's best to lead the nation, I'm ok with that. But what I hate to see is the massive disappointment that comes afterwards when they realize his centrist speech translates to tepid, centrist policies.
Barack Obama is a very moderate centrist who is perhaps less negatively perceived than Clinton, but a centrist none the less. But I will vote for him in the general election if he is the nominee because he will be better than any Republican for sure.-

He's the new Kennedy AND a Shepard Fairey poster? Damn. Obama is so hip next thing you know he'll be modeling for Marc Jacobs.
