The fall of the Soviet Union meant parts of Russia were cut off from communication and support from the government. The result is eerie collections of buildings and bases, and at times entire cities, that lie abandoned and in ruin. The pictures and history of each place make for a fascinating virtual exploration.

Eerily fascinating indeed! Take a look at some of America's abandoned wonders too. I think we should have a pod about these. -
I guess there's one use that these 'abandoned cities can be used for, parkour.
Seems like an ideal location to get some free running going on, run, jump hang and climb til your heart's content.
Check this pod on Forrest, he's a master of parkour and one of the few people in the world that teaches this skill. -
