  • Great pod.

You really managed to capture an interesting angle: I've been wondering what they have been doing with their creative energy for the past 2 months. The fundraising event gave the piece a really nice lens to take a new look at it.

The piece moved really well -- with use of your interview footage and, strike sequences and then the footage from the video pieces.

You managed to capture a good sense of the conflict of all these super-creative funny people being out of work -- they have to do something to keep from going absolutely crazy.

I would have liked to have heard a bit more about how many people are on strike exactly -- but you really had some good bytes in there about how the entire industry is basically on strike in solidarity.

Nice job -- a fresh slant on a news item that was really funny and lighthearted.

  • I thought this piece was very creative. It was creative in a sense of taking an issue that is , currently, very serious and turning it into humor! I mean, there are people who are seriously affected by the strike and acting/writing/producing was probably their means to be able to get their next meal. I never even heard of this fundraiser and I think it was a very unique idea. The pod moved really well and kept a really nice pace. I really liked the interviews as well because they made me see these, otherwised glamorized, actors in a completely humbling and different light. Loved it!
